4. Put it where the routine happens
At the child’s eye level. Not yours — theirs. By the front door for mornings. In the bathroom for bedtime. If it’s not in the place where the routine starts, it doesn’t exist.
5. Walk through it together — and let them move the pieces

When it stops working
