Terms of Service

§ 1. General Provisions
1. These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the "ParentOS" application (hereinafter: "Application") and services provided by the Service Provider.
2. The Application is designed for managing family life — including calendar, finances, health, meals, and other aspects of daily family activities.
3. The Service Provider is Eryk Panter, operating under the trade name ParentOS, address: Przystan 19/1, Lomianki Dolne, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 5272881218.

§ 2. Technical Requirements
For proper use of the Application, the following are required:
- Internet connection
- Device allowing use of Internet resources
- Modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Active email account
- JavaScript and cookies enabled
Security Measures:
- Encrypted transmission for all connections
- Zero-knowledge architecture with end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for sensitive data
- Server cannot access user's encrypted data — even we cannot read it
§ 3. Service Agreement
Concluding the Agreement:
- Visit parentos.ai and click the registration option
- Fill in the required data in the form
- Accept the Terms and Privacy Policy
- Click the registration button
- Confirm registration by clicking the link in the email
Trial Period:
The User has the right to a 7-day free Trial Period to familiarize themselves with the Application's functionality.
Agreement Termination:
The User may terminate the Agreement by deleting their Account in the Application or by sending a request to contact@parentos.ai.
§ 4. Fees and Payments
1. Prices are expressed in PLN/EUR/USD (depending on location) and are gross values (including VAT).
2. Payments are processed through a certified PCI DSS compliant payment provider.
3. Automatic renewals: The Subscription Fee is charged automatically, in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
4. Subscription cancellation: You may cancel the subscription at any time in Account settings. Access remains active until the end of the paid period.
5. Failure to pay will result in suspension of access to paid functionalities.
§ 5. Complaints
For Consumers:
- Submit complaints to: contact@parentos.ai
- Complaint should include: name, email, description of issue, request
- We respond within 14 days
For Business Users:
- Submit complaints to: contact@parentos.ai, no later than 30 days from discovery
- We respond within 21 days (in complex cases up to 30 days)
§ 6. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the Agreement without giving any reason within 14 days from its conclusion.
How to withdraw:
- Send a withdrawal statement to: contact@parentos.ai
- It is sufficient to send the statement before the deadline expires
Refunds:
The Service Provider returns all payments received no later than 14 days from the date of receiving the withdrawal statement.
§ 7. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
AI Usage:
The Application uses external artificial intelligence service providers for text and voice assistant functionality. Under the AI Act regulation, the service is classified as a limited risk AI system.
Important Information:
- Results generated by AI may contain errors or inaccuracies
- They require human verification before use
- Do not constitute medical, legal, or financial advice
Data and AI:
- User data is NOT used to train AI models by external providers
- You can disable AI features at any time in settings
§ 8. Liability
1. The Service Provider undertakes to provide Services with due diligence.
2. The Service Provider aims to ensure Application availability at 99.5% per month.
3. The Service Provider is not liable for:
- Using Services contrary to their purpose
- Providing incorrect or false data
- Decisions made based on AI results
- Disruptions resulting from force majeure or maintenance work
4. After Agreement termination, data is available for 90 days, then permanently deleted.
§ 9. Final Provisions
1. These Terms are effective from January 26, 2026.
2. The Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes will be resolved by a court having jurisdiction over the Service Provider's seat (subject to mandatory provisions regarding court jurisdiction in consumer cases).

4. If any provision of the Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
